Having a computer- or Internet-related problem? Ask about it here and we'll try to help - no promises, though. Similarly if we are aware of any problems you should know about, we'll tell you here.

The quick way to find new posts is to look for the orange icon which indicates a new post in that forum, and click the little orange topic icon in the right-hand column. (Not the poster's name - that will take you to the person's profile!) A blue icon indicates that there have been no new posts there since your last visit.
However if you are not a regular visitor, or if you are a new member, there may well be more than one new post in each forum. In this case find the "View new posts" link, towards the left, just below our logo and your "New messages" indicator. Click there to see a list of all the recent posts.
You can also choose to view "Unanswered posts" or "Active posts" - posts which have had items added within a given number of weeks or months.
Using the above method will also give you the titles of the topics, which you may find helpful if you are looking for a particular piece of information.

My books are water; those of the great geniuses are wine—everybody drinks water.
