England (North)
Many of my Yorkshire ancestors were in the weaving trades: handloom weavers, and later machine weavers and wool sorters. Principal surnames are Whiteoak, McCready, McCarthy, Metcalfe, Greenwood, Duckworth, Green and Barrett. There are also some records from Lancashire.
