Whiteoak in Australia and New Zealand

Whiteoak in Canada
William Whiteoak and Sally Dodd were the earliest immigrant ancestors of many Canadian Whiteoaks. Some settled in Ontario, and their descendants can still be found there. The Markham area has had a Whiteoak population since the 19th century. Subforum: Canadian Census

Whiteoak in the USA
There is some uncertainty about exactly when the Whiteoaks first arrived in the USA. Although most emigration to the USA seems to have happened in the 19th century, there were Whiteoaks here much earlier, even in the 17th. It seems likely that several families arrived there independently, some moving South from Canada. Subforum: US Census
